Albert Isaac

Albert Isaac, the son of the late Ernie and Nora Stroup Isaac, was born in Kinder on July 31, 1929, and died at the Three Rivers Healthcare North Campus in Poplar Bluff on Thursday, March 20, 2003, at the age of 73. Mr. Isaac had lived all his life in the Kinder and Puxico areas. He was a member of Kinder General Baptist Chapel, and he loved to hunt and fish. He had been a timber worker with the Arthur James Company custodian at the Puxico Schools. On Sept. 27, 1952, he was married to Norma Crites in Piggott, Ark. Surviving are his wife, Norma Isaac of Puxico; two daughters, Margie Morse of Puxico and Andra Hawkins of Bloomfield; one son, Larry Isaac of Matthews; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Georgie Stilts and Ina Mae Waller, both of Puxico. He was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Isaac, on Nov. 15, 1981; one grandson, Michael Cookemboo on Nov. 15, 1979; three sisters, Peal Hicks, Geneva Bond and Francis Isaac. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. today, Friday, March 21, 2003, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2003, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico with the Rev. Ray Placher of Puxico officiating. Interment will follow in the Fagan Cemetery near Puxico with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
