Coena Dorothy Dambach of Malden, the daughter of the late Charles Georger and Louise Schoen Georger, was born July 16, 1921 at Kelso, Mo. and died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002 at Three Rivers Health Care North in Poplar Bluff, at the age of 80. She was a former member of St. Ann Alter Society and a member of the St. Ann Catholic Church in Malden. On Nov. 19, 1953 she was united in marriage to Benjamin Dambach. He preceded her in death on Oct. 19, 1984. Survivors include two sons, Dan Dambach of Malden and Karl Dambach of Dexter; two daughters, Linda Schneider of Malden and Marla Knutson of Dexter; one brother, Lucas Georger of Advance; three sisters, Sister Elaine Georger of Cape Girardeau, Alvena Lett of Scott City and Marina Georger of Chaffee; and two granddaughters. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Matt and Joe Georger; and two sisters, Sister Agusta Georger and Regina Georger. Visitation will be held at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden on Friday, Feb. 8 beginning at 5 p.m. A Rosary Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 9 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Malden with Father Glenn Eftink officiating. Interment will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden with Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden in charge of arrangements.
