Dan Denny

Dan Denny, son of the late Alfred and Veda Denny was born in Bloomfield on December 26, 1917, and passed away at his home near Bloomfield on Friday, July 18, 2003, at the age of 85. Mr. Denny had spent his entire life in the Bloomfield community. He was a retired farmer, a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Bloomfield, and a Veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Army. On April 28, 1941, he was married to Quinola Wright. She preceded him in death on January 17, 1999. Survivors include one sister, Irene Willis of Dexter; one nephew and his wife, Darrell and Vickie Willis of Newark, Del.; two nieces and their husbands, Karen and Steve Comfort, Vickie and David Green, all of Dexter. Other relatives and many friends survive to mourn his passing. Visitation was held at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, 2003. Graveside rites were conducted Sunday, July 20, 2003, at 3 p.m. in the Bloomfield Cemetery with Rev. Ron Dunavin officiating. Burial followed in the Bloomfield Cemetery. PAID
