Wilma Seabaugh

Wilma I.V.D Seabaugh, daughter of the late Pervis Crites and Sara Francis Pullium Crites, was born July 24, 1917, in Gravel Hill and died July 15, 2003, in the Jackson Manor Nursing Home at the age of 85. Mrs. Seabaugh was a homemaker, a member of the Mt. Zion General Baptist Church, and a resident of Jackson. She was united in marriage to Truman Dayton Seabaugh on November, 9, 1935. Mr. Seabaugh preceded her in death on January 8, 1975. Mrs. Seabaugh is survived by 10 children, Elza Seabaugh, John Seabaugh, T. Gale Seabaugh, Wendal Seabaugh, and Milford Seabaugh, all of Jackson, Lindell Seabaugh, Donald Seabaugh, and Rex Seabaugh, all of Marble Hill, Jerry Seabaugh of Dexter, and Ronald Seabaugh of Charleston; two sisters, Beatrice Mayfield of Cape Girardeau and Imogene Lincoln of Scopus; 19 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Holbert Crites. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 16, 2003, from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 17, 2003, at the Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill with the Rev. Rupert Jack Lesley, Jr. and Rev. Frank Shanks officiating. Interment will follow at the Bollinger County Memorial Park in Marble Hill.
