Dancing with the Stars!Posted Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at 7:04 AM
Minnie O'Pausal, well-known blogster for the Dexter Statesman, has been discovered dancing with an unknown partner on the popular television series "Dancing with the Stars."
"We are pleased that our long-time blogger and night cleaning lady has found an outlet for the amazing energy which she discovered in her many anti-aging experiments," stated a Statesman official, who wished to remain anonymous.
In recent weeks, feminine supporters of Ms. O'Pausal had feared foul play, after Ms. O'Pausal failed to show up for her regular Tuesday night class entitled "Brain and Body Rejuvenation Techniques for the over-50."
Ms. O'Pausal was the subject of two demonstrations by her supporters. On Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, the women made history by appearing outside the office of the Statesman with signs, demanding her freedom. On the following Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, organizers met at the Statesman office for a candlelight vigil, during which they marched on foot to the police station.
As a result of this remarkable civil disturbance, several of the ladies were arrested and put in jail, along with various and sundry barnyard animals who accompanied them.
Recent photos of these arrests have surfaced and will be posted at a later date.
At this point, it is not known if the feisty Ms. O'Pausal will return to her job at the Statesman, or if she will join her dancing partner (shown above) for an extended road trip across the United States.
