All is well..Posted Sunday, September 9, 2007, at 9:18 PM
Just a note...
All is well in Meno-Land. I tried to open the exit door to Wal-Mart today with the remote to my vehicle. The worst part is, I didn't realize it till I was half-way across the parking lot. Since the door is automatic, it appeared to have worked! Does this condition only worsen? Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

What condition?
That would be the condition that causes us to sprinkle Comet on lasagna and place ice creamin the cabinet and crackers in the freezer. That would be the condition.
Oh boy does it...Many times I go to another room or the shed or carport only to wonder what I was going there for. As far as trying to open the walmart doors with your car keys....mmmmmm I don't know
Ditto to Lufer's comment. It seems to be happening to me with greater frequency. Pretty soon I'll be able to hide my own Easter Eggs.
Oh, balderdash! You young ones have no idea just how much worse it's gonna get! I have a feeling that the Cake Lady knows, and that's why she said, "What condition?" I do believe that she and I may have been through it and come out in the darkness on the other side!
Let's see....I remember taking my blood pressure pills, but was that last night or this morning?
I wrote that down, but where did I put the note?
Where did I put the instructions to reorder my pills?
Where did I put the pin to my on-line checking account?
Why do I have so much money in my account? Did I forget to record a paycheck?
Did I record that check?
Why do I have so many papers lying around the house?
Whose house is this, anyway???
I am not near meno-land yet, but we all have our moments. Yesterday, I tried to turn the volume of my cell phone up with my car radio control. That condition is called, full time mommy, full time work, kids screaming in the backseat for McDonald's.......not a minute for yourself condition...haha....Life is to hectic sometimes......
Phew! Good to know I've got company on this sinking ship called mindlessness.
Maybe that explains this whole crazy world. All of us "baby boomers" are losing it at the same time.
I used to say don't think of it as a hot flash, think of it as your inner child playing with matches. Last night I heard a better one: POWERSURGES!
Maybe those powersurges are burning out a few of my gray cells. Who knew?
